Are Mackenzie and Hud still together?

Claim fame season 3 contestants Mackenzie Adkins and Hud Mellencamp had a flirtatious friendship during the show, but have they continued their relationship after filming? Mackenzie and Hud made it all the way to the finals and started working together towards the end of the season. After making it to the final three with Adam, they decided to team up to find out who his celebrity relative was, but they ended up targeting each other during the final challenge due to their competitive spirit.

Despite a head injury that nearly forced him to leave the show early, Adam, who was revealed to be Michael Bolton’s nephew, won the final. Claim fame challenge in season 3, and he was able to figure out both Mackenzie and Hud’s identity on his own. Mackenzie came in third when Adam correctly guessed that she was related to country singer and actor Trace Adkins. (she is his daughter). Then he won Claim fame season 3 when he guessed it right Hud was related to singer John Mellencamp (he is her son). Mackenzie and Hud make a cute couple, but are they still together?

Mackenzie and Hud have visited each other several times

Claim fame season 3 featured a sweet montage of Mackenzie and Hud Claim fame season 1 runner-up Logan Crosby’s song “Girl Next Door” (shared via Instagram). In an interview after the performance People, Hud said of her and Mackenzie’s relationship, “We’re just hanging out, let’s see what happens.” Mackenzie shared “He visited me a few times in Nashville. I visited him (in Indiana). Yeah, it’s going well.”

Mackenzie said it was one of the things she was most excited about Claim fame was it her fellow contestants would understand her as they share a similar life as they have celebrity relatives. He added, “Especially Hud because both of us, that’s our dad, and they’re both musicians. It’s just very similar. It’s been amazing, so much fun getting to know everyone.”

In an interview with EWWhen asked if their relationship became looser in the house than what was portrayed on TV, Hud replied, “In the house?” Mackenzie then said: “No. There were cameras everywhere. It wasn’t… No. No.” Hud added, “Isn’t that the show.” Most importantly, when asked if either of them would say they are currently single, they both remained silent.

Mackenzie says Trace loves Hud

His People in the interview, Hud revealed that his father, John, flew to Nashville to Mackenzie’s house. Claim fame season 3 finale viewing party, which Mackenzie’s father, Trace, also attended. However, he had met Hud before. In the year EW interview, Mackenzie said, “My dad has met Hud, and my dad loves Hud. I think the whole football and college thing sealed the deal for him. My dad played football in college, and he said, “I liked that boy.”
