Usually, taking part in a wine tasting involves handing over several bank notes, but in a role reversal, ALDI is looking to give you their wine for free to sample as part of their new Winefluencer Club.
Looking out for 10 wine connoisseursthe supermarket will send over samples of wine from their spring & summer range (as well as getting to try their autumn & winter range later on), and in return, a select few will simply need to post a review on social media giving their honest thoughts on the wine.

As part of their wine influencer initiative, the supermarket hopes to make the art of wine tasting more fun and accessible to more people – extending the invite to anyone with a social media account and a passion for a Côtes du Rhône or a Sangiovese, rather than those who are qualified up to the knees.
If you’re chosen as one of the 10 winefluencers by ALDIyou can post your review on Instagram, Tik Tok or YouTube after trying a free sample, which the supermarket will then use to take on feedback to shape the wine selection in the future.
ALDI is working with influencer Liam D’Arcy on the initiative, who has his own account (@thewinewally) dedicated to wine and making it more accessible to as many people as possible.
Speaking on the posting, Liam D’Arcy says: “This is a fantastic opportunity for wine lovers – not only to taste Aldi’s amazing wine for free, but to develop their skills, grow their audience and help others discover top picks from the latest range.”
