This is how it starts…
LCD Soundsystem hinted to us they’d be back at Brixton Academy later this week, and now we have the full announcement that the band will be playing an eye-watering eight nights at the London venue this summer. They’ll take to the stage in South London on eight days between June 12 – June 22.
They set up a series of projections in Shoreditch that read ‘You are here (again)’ with a lightning graphic that suggested a return to the London venue after a similar residency at the venue to celebrate 20 years as a band in 2022.

LCD Soundsystem last played London at an All Points East last summerwhen they also performed a Pyramid Stage slot at Glastonbury Festival. James Murphy and co. are due to release a new album this year, and dropped their latest single ‘X-Ray Eyes’ in November last year.
Shows on the two Sundays during their residency will start and finish slightly earlier than other nights, with the performances on June 15 and June 22 running from 5-9pm.

Tickets to see LCD Soundsystem go on general sale at 9am on Friday, March 7. There will also be a pre-sale for O2 Priority members that commences on Wednesday, March 5 at the same time.
