Amazon has slashed the price of a highly popular protein bar. The Peanut Nutter bar from Grenade is a triple-layered, chocolate-coated protein bar high in protein.

It packs in 20g of protein per bar and is low in sugar too. Now, Amazon has a deal that sees 12 Grenade Peanut Nutter bars on sale at 44 per cent off.

Usually, the 12 bars would cost over £30, but with this deal, the 12 bars which some call ‘absolutely delicious’ only cost £17.49. That’s cheaper than getting them at Tesco, Ocado, and Sainsbury’s, where buying 12 would set you back £32.40.

The Grenade Bars are triple-layered, chocolate-coated protein bar, high in protein, with 20 g per bar, and low in sugar

These bars have a 4.6 out of 5 rating on Amazon with over 3,000 ratings. One review said: “Absolutely delicious. I really like these bars, usually eat one walking home from the gym after a good workout the taste and texture is gorgeous low on sugar high in protein excellent for me got these on subscribe and save for the price.”

Another person wrote: “This is a great-tasting protein bar. I like Grenade products however it’s a bit pricey. That being said you do get what you pay for as cheaper brands are not as nice and normally full of sugar and other unwanted stuff.”

Not everyone thinks they are the best bars though. One less happy customer said: “For the price these could be much better. Very often the sticky filling leaks out of the coating and sticks to the wrapper making it difficult and messy to eat. The recipe has changed and they are not as nice as they used to be.”

If you want a different option for a protein snack then Tesco has all the flavours of the Good4U Plant-Based Protein Balls on Clubcard price at the moment, making them £4 rather than their usual £5.50. Sainsbury’s alternatively has the Graze Protein Bites in Cocoa Vanilla down from £2.75 to £1.75 with a Nectar Card.

You can get the deal for the Grenade Bars here. Buy them individually at Tesco, Ocado, and Sainsbury’s. Get the Good4U Plant-Based Protein Balls from Tesci and the Graze Protein Bites in Cocoa Vanilla from Sainsbury’s.
