Telly-loving Londoners, listen up. For one day only, Netflix is giving you the rare and remarkable opportunity to rummage through their treasure trove of TV gold at a pop-up shop that lands in the capital on October 12. As Seen on Netflix will be a heart-stopping chance to get your hands on some one-of-a-kind items, each of which have played a role in a beloved Netflix show.
From weird-and-wonderful wardrobe pieces to unique props and memorabilia; the shop will be jam-packed with hidden gems that have jumped straight from the screen to the pop-up store in Bethnal Green. The pop-up shop is in partnership with leading mental health charity, Mindand all proceeds will go directly towards funding their incredible work across England and Wales.
Inside the pop-up shop
Shoppers will be able to snap up iconic costume pieces such as Princess Diana’s jeans from The Crown, Joan’s cheerleading outfit from Black Mirrorand Otis’ school tie from Sex Education. Netflix nuts can also get their hands on some rather niche props including a wine glass from Love is Blind and the ‘shame sign’ from Sex Education. Signed scripts from various shows will be on sale as well as a whole host of show memorabilia, making this an unmissable opportunity to take a piece of your favourite programme home with you.
Some lucky Londoners may even seek out some hidden designer gems such as a Balenciaga top featured in The Gentlemen or a pair of Margiela jeans from Bodkin. The items in the shop will be set across a range of prices, with some costing as little as £1.
The online auction
If you aren’t able to get down to the pop-up shop on October 12, fear not. Netflix’s generosity doesn’t end there, because on top of the plethora of in-store bits-and-bobs on sale, a selection of extra-special items will be auctioned online. With bids starting from just £9.99, you could be cycling to work on Eric’s bike from Sex Educationwriting up your next essay on Emma’s typewriter from One Day, flicking through the original Lady Whistledown papers from Bridgerton, or donning the iconic Rolls Royce t-shirt from Beckham (which will also be signed by none other than Vicky B herself).
