A new pub dedicated to “perfecting” the pint is coming to central London this July.

Promising a fresh Czech twist on the city’s beer scene, it aims to celebrate beer culture in an authentic, craft-focused way by showcasing the artistry behind pouring the perfect pint.

A new pub from the team behind Euston Tap and Piccadilly Tap

The Stranded is the latest venture from the team behind London favourites Euston Tap and Piccadilly Tapbringing their expertise in great beer and hospitality to a new level by immersing drinkers in authentic Prague beer culture.

Located on The Strandthe pub will be open daily from noon to midnight, making it an ideal spot for after-work drinks, weekend outings, or simply a relaxed pint infused with a little Prague flair.

With its unique focus on the craft of pouring, a carefully curated beer selection, and an inviting atmosphere tailored for beer enthusiasts, The Stranded is set to become another solid spot in London’s pub landscape this summer.

Bringing authentic Czech beer culture to London

At the heart of The Stranded is its 13-metre Czech-built bar featuring rare side-pour tapsan unusual fixture outside Prague. These taps allow for precise pouring, ensuring each beer is served with the ideal amount of foam that locks in flavour and freshness – something let’s be honest, beer lovers rarely experience in London.

This technique is central to The Stranded’s mission: to elevate beer appreciation by replicating traditional Czech pouring styles.

The pub offers Buddvals stocks – Original, Nefiltr, Dark, and a 0.0% alcohol option alongside a rotating selection of five keg beers and four cask ales, all served by trained tapsters who meticulously prepare each glass for optimal experience. Patrons can enjoy three distinctive Czech pouring styles:

Way: a classic full glass with a rich, creamy foam head.

Shute: a smaller pour topped with more foam for a lighter drink.

Milk: a mug filled primarily with sweet, silky foam, a local Czech favourite.

So if you’re looking for the perfect pint, make your way to The Stranded – rest assured, every pint served will be perfect.
