Get ready for a summer packed with some fun and excitement at Hertfordshire Zoo.

Enter a world of wonder at Hertfordshire Zoo’s Summer Evenings, an exclusive after-hours event that promises an unforgettable experience and exclusive access to see the animals as the sun goes down.

But that’s not all. Visitors can also embark on a prehistoric adventure in the world of dinosaurs, where more than 40 beasts roar and move, taking you back in time.

Don’t miss the latest additions stepping into the world of dinosaurs, which is bigger than ever before…

Summer evenings

Caribbean steel drummers and African acrobatic dancers will bring the energy as visitors relax and enjoy the show – from carnival stilt walkers to tassel men.

Kids can get animal-themed face painting, meet the big dinosaurs and watch an amazing bubblegum show.

Parents can grab a delicious drink and enjoy good food from the Caribbean food truck, located next to Keeper HQ, where they can also listen to animal lectures and watch the bird show.

As the evening unfolds, visitors can explore the newest animal habitats, including the captivating UK Center of Species Survival trail.

Hertfordshire Zoo’s Summer Evenings take place every Saturday from 1st to 29th June, between 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

Tickets are available at the discounted price of £15 each. Children under two can enter for free with ID.

Dine at the Wildlife Charity Fundraising Ball

Hertfordshire Zoo will also host its annual Dine for Wildlife Charity Fundraising Ball this summer.

Get ready for a really wild night on Saturday 6 July as the zoo raises vital funds for wildlife.

For one evening only, guests can enjoy an unforgettable experience with conservation at the fore.

The black-tie event includes an exclusive drinks and canape reception, a delicious three-course dinner, live entertainment and a grand live auction.

This year the focus is on lemur conservation and the selected conservation partner SEED Madagascar, which is dedicated to preserving the island’s biodiversity through community engagement, education and research.

Animal experiences and encounters

Hertfordshire Zoo has developed an outstanding reputation for providing incredible access to some of the world’s most exotic and endangered species, including lions, tigers, meerkats and lemurs.

These experiences are safe, educational and allow visitors to form special bonds with the animals.

Each experience includes entry to the zoo, so you can spend the entire day exploring the facilities.

One Zoo Three meet and greet

But there is a very exciting meeting to look out for this half term.

Aaron, Tyler and Cam, stars of CBBC’s One Zoo Three, will be meeting fans on the Safari Stage on 29 and 31 May.

Be sure to mark your calendars for this exclusive opportunity to meet the amazing brothers in person at Hertfordshire Zoo.

One Zoo Three meet and greets are included with your day tickets, so no additional purchases are necessary.

An inspiring experience

Hertfordshire Zoo is an inspiring experience for children and adults alike.

It innovates by creating new habitats specially designed to achieve the highest level of welfare for its animals while giving visitors a unique perspective.

The zoo is a registered charity and also takes action by partnering with organizations around the world to implement holistic, impactful conservation.

It educates visitors on how to live more sustainably and inspires them through exciting, immersive and unforgettable experiences, creating a new generation of wildlife ambassadors.
