Rock icons Heart have just announced their first UK arena gigs in eight years. The group will embark on a world tour this year with special guests Squeeze, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary.
And the European leg of the Royal Flush Tour will open at London’s O2 on Monday 1 July. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 2 at 10.00 – you can buy them on Ticketmaster here.
Hearts singer Ann Wilson said: “We are excited and all set to hit the road in 2024 to perform for our devoted fans. The band’s exceptional talent – Ryan, Ryan, Paul, Tony and Sean – bring a whole new level of energy to Hearts live performance.”
Nancy Wilson added: “I’m incredibly proud of the show our band has created and look forward to reconnecting with our fans. We can’t wait to share our music with everyone and celebrate the timeless legacy of our classic hits.”
Founded in 1973, Heart has ruled rock radio for over 50 years with top hits like “Magic Man”, “Barracuda” and “What About Love?”. The band has sold over 35 million records and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
Its current line-up includes sisters Nancy Wilson (rhythm, lead and acoustic guitar, backing and lead vocals) and Ann Wilson (lead vocals and flute). They are joined by Ryan Wariner (lead and rhythm guitar), Ryan Waters (guitars), Paul Moak (guitars, keyboards and backing vocals), Tony Lucido (bass and backing vocals) and Sean Lane (drums and bicycle).
The tour kicks off Saturday, April 20 in Greenville, South Carolina, and runs through September in Morrison, Colorado. The band will travel to Europe for summer shows, playing a string of festival dates and arena gigs in Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester and Leeds before finishing at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Tuesday 9 July.
