Tucked away in a six-acre estate close to the City, the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) is now a historic events venue home to a wealth of grand spaces available for corporate and private hire. Both the Georgian manor house and Artillery Garden can be hired for events, from conferences to dinners, promising a spectacular backdrop that’s sure to impress guests.
The HAC is comprised of three main venues: Armoury House, the Prince Consort Rooms, and the Artillery Garden. Inside Armoury House, for example, you’ll find six unique and characterful rooms, from the elegant wood-panelled Long Room ideal for grand receptions and banquets, to the smaller but still impressive Ante Room, which is great for lunches, meetings, dinners and breakout sessions. This space can also be hired in conjunction with the interconnecting Court Room if liked.
Elsewhere, the Prince Consort Rooms is its largest events space. Converted from the regiment’s former drill halls, this stunning room boasts vaulted ceilings, painted brick walls and parquet flooring, while a separate registration area and dedicated entrance add an extra exclusive feel to events held here.
If you’re planning on booking a summer event then you might like to plump for the garden, with its vast lawns and mix of modern and traditional surrounds. Part of the space is used for sports fields, so there’s always the option to host a charity match or teambuilding sports challenge should you fancy doing something a little bit different for your next away day.
The Honourable Artillery Company’s handy location is a further draw, being just a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street which makes it a straightforward venue for guests to travel to. Finally, its official catering partner Searcys has catererd for a huge range of prestigious events over the years, with menus focused around seasonal and sustainable produce.
