A Christmas dinner with all the trimmings

London’s legendary 24-hour cafe, Polo Bar, is back for another season of serving up Christmas cheer by the plate-load, folks. The beloved spot has announced that its Christmas menu is back for the festive season. And perched at the very top of that Christmas menu is a Christmas dinner that Londoners can tuck into at any hour of the day or night.

Polo Bar

Polo Bar has been perched proudly over in Liverpool Street since 1953, and has beenfilling the rumbling tummies of hungry Londoners with glorious grub for the past 72 years. The iconic eatery has become rather renowned for its humongous portions, outrageous food challenges, decadent pancakes stacks, and for being (quite literally) always open. But ’tis the season to stuff your face, and all that. So Polo Bar has levelled up its 24-hour offerings to mark the occasion, and is now serving up a Christmas dinner that’ll be available 24/7. Because nothing screams ‘festive’ quite like shoving pigs-in-blankets into your mouth at 3am, right?

The Christmas dinner will set diners back £17.50 and come complete with turkey, mash, pigs-in-blankets, seasonal veg, homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce, and gravy. If you’re not in the mood for a full-blown roast at the crack of dawn, however (each to their own, I suppose); Polo Bar’s festive menu also features a ‘Crimbo Turkey Burger’ (comprised of turkey, stuffing, cheese, giant pigs-in-blankets, confit onions, and chips) and ‘Santa’s Big Breakfast’ (which includes streaky bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, tomato, stuffing, toast, and – of course – pigs-in-blankets). Or you can be a total Scrooge about it and order something delicious from their regular menu instead. No judgement here, of course…

You’ll find Polo Bar at 176 Bishopsgate, EC2M 4NQ. The Christmas menu will be available until December 24. Find out more and plan your visit here.
