Oasis fan looking for tickets in Manchester with a sign saying 'Tickets Wanted'

Almost time to lose your voices at Oasis this weekend. We are officially one day away from the band’s return to the capital, and the excitement is going to be heading into overdrive. It is their first show here in 16 years, after all!

Now, before you Slide Away into the crowd, you’ll need to make sure you’re ready to actually get into the stadium. That’s most easily achieved by being aware of what kind of bag or rucksack you can take in ahead of time, as well as knowing about the banned items you’ll need to make sure to leave at home. After that, you’ll be belting out Don’t Look Back In Anger with the band and bucket hat in tow, with not another care in the world.

Banned items you can’t take into Wembley Stadium for the Oasis gigs

Now, it’s clear that you won’t get in if you have any large sharp objects, but there are some more items that you won’t be able to take into the venue. Here’s what to make sure you don’t have on your person, as per the Wembley Stadium guidelines:

  • Bags not in line with the bag policy (see below), unless there is a medical exemption that applies
  • The website also reads that for ALL Oasis shows. No bottles of any kind will be allowed into the show. This applies to hard plastic, aluminium, plastic bottles and any kind of glass receptacle, including perfume bottles.
  • Large umbrellas
  • Food & Drink
  • Alcohol
  • Pushchairs or buggies
  • Weapons or tools
  • Selfie sticks
  • Drones
  • Flares, lasers, smoke devices & cannisters
  • Large bodied cameras and and camcorders
  • Unauthorised musical instruments and vuvuzelas

What kind of bag can I take into Oasis shows?

Everyone is permitted to take in one small bag to Wembley Stadium for the shows, but they must adhere to the official bag policy. All bags will be inspected ahead of entry to the gig. Bags must not be bigger than A4 size, and follow these dimensions:

  • Height 297mm (11.7 inches)
  • Width 210mm (8.27 inches)
  • Depth 210mm (8.27 inches)

If your bag does not meet the venue’s requirements, you won’t be permitted into the event. There is a bag drop area by the Ibis hotel in Wembley on the West side, though you’ll need to allow time to check your bag in here before the gig due to queues that can build up for the service. There is no bag drop area inside the stadium.

Are there any exceptions to this policy?

Yes. The only exception for the official bag policy is if an attendee has a medical exemption, and this requires permission in advance. A full list of exemptions and more details on applying, head to the official Wembley Stadium bag policy section on their website.

Oasis Live ’25 shows kick off their London leg at Wembley Stadium this weekend, with the band playing on July 25-26. They will then play on July 30 and August 2-3 next week, before returning for two gigs on September 27-28.
