Since that fateful day when we all learned about what ‘dynamic pricing’ was (still bitter? You bet!), the anticipation to see Oasis back on stage in London has been growing exponentially. And the big week is finally here. Gallagher sibling rivalry has not bubbled over; far from it. The band have played a slick and celebratory run of sets in Cardiff and Manchester, and will play the first two gigs of seven in the capital this weekend.

As with any event of this scale, plenty who wish to go remain ticketless and may head over to Wembley Way to listen outside the venue to hear Acquiese or Champagne Supernova up close, albeit without the onstage visuals. Fans, however, have been advised not to turn up to the venue to soak in the vibes unless you have a ticket for safety reasons.

Seatpick, a concert tickets site, has spoken out, saying that fans without tickets shouldn’t be standing outside the entrance and exits to the stadium, and will be moved along by staff to ensure that everyone can make their way in and out of the site safely.

A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium has said: “To support with the safe entry and exit of everyone within the stadium, no one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium. Non ticket holders will be moved on.”

This comes after large numbers of Taylor Swift fans gathered outside the stadium at the artist’s Eras tour last summer, with predictions that a similar occurrence could take place at the Oasis shows. In Manchester, fans without tickets were able to gather on Gallagher Hill to soak up the atmosphere without a ticket, but there sadly isn’t a similar spot where Oasis heads can safely do this at Wembley Stadium.

Oasis play Wembley Stadium seven times this year, with the first dates coming this week on July 25-26.
