Thomas Heier has left his position as CEO of Wagamama UK for four years.

Heier joined Wagamamaa in 2017 as a human leader and became CEO in 2021, leading the company through the latter stages of the pandemic and navigating significant cost pressure.

His successor is Mark Chambers, currently the CFO of the Wagama parent company, Restaurant (TRG), who will enter into force on June 2.

Chambers previously led TRG’s free time and concessions – surveillance brands such as Chiquito and Frankie & Benny’s – which TRG moved to the Big Table in 2023 in a $ 7.5 million store.

Heier said, “Although I’m very excited about what’s going on next, I leave the company knowing to be a strong position for the future and look forward to seeing the next growth and innovation phase. I always return the team from the page.”

Wagamama maintains 160 restaurants throughout the United Kingdom, as well as about 50 franchising locations throughout Europe and nearby.

It also has seven restaurants in the United States and are located in cities such as New York, Boston and Tampa.

The group has also announced the leadership changes in its North American department, and the Stephen judge will be appointed CEO on June 9.

A judge who grew up in the United Kingdom and began his career as a professional chef is currently the CEO of the Gibsons Restaurant and previously led café operations in Hard Rock International.

The judge reports to Andy Hornby, CEO of TRG, who is now responsible for Wagama’s international activities.

At that time, both TRG and Apollo emphasized the international expansion of Wagama as a key strategic priority in business.
