The Duo Amy Corb and Patrick Williams behind the KUDU collective have revealed their plans to move a Peckham-based project to Maryleboneon to London.
The husband and wife team launched the original Kutu Queens Road in Peckham in January 2018 and earned Michelin Bib Gourmand for their efforts.
In January 2020, they opened the cocktail bar Smokey Kudu, which has since been closed. This was followed by the curious spawn of the gallery and private dining area in May 2021 and Kutu Grill in September of that year.
The couple said on Instagram: “We are officially enthusiastic about announcing that after eight great years in Peckham, Kutu sites will move to a new home in Marylebo in September.
“The new restaurant brings together three under one roof, which means an exciting new chapter for our company!
Williams started his culinary career in La Colombe in Cape Town and later refine his skills in Camphors in Vergegen. When he moved to London, he joined Robin Gill’s team in the mansion and eventually became a sous chef in Paradise Garage.
The daughter of Chris Corbin, the founder of the Corbin & King restaurant group known to the hospitality industry Corbin & King, grew immersed in the KUDU collective.
Kudu and Kutu Grill in Peckham offer a limited batch of the ‘Best of Kudu’ menu in July and August.
