The Tami Islands Is a small island organization placed thirteen km SSE of the Finnschhafen with Huon Gulf (see also Salomon Sea). It is part of the ultramodern Morobe -ProvincePapua New Guinea. Its people had been recognized throughout the islands of Solomo and Southern to his or her one of a kind wooden bowl, their spiritual definite carvings and their ceremonial masks. During the Second World War, the islands had been briefly occupied by the Japanese; The Tami Islands had been secured after the landings and Nassau Bay, Lae and Nadzab. With unique beauty, Tami deserves to be one of the most beautiful islands in Papua New Guinea

The Tami Islands comprise 4 Atolls, of which can be very small, and one so small that it is not always a lot larger than a strip. In the two largest islands there are villages that face every difference in a volcanic bay. The islands form a circle around a lagoon, which in the middle is 21 meters deep. Cove draws snorkelers and divers who discover the reef, which consists of day strips from close teams, on the primary island of Papua New Guinea. The reef contains Spanish dancers jellyfish, blue see stars and types of colorful pelagic fish, each predator and prey. At its widest, the largest island is not always extra than about eighty meters all the time.
