Bird Group in India has acquired Wiltshire’s Four-AA-red star Beechfield House and is ready for a $ £ 4 million reference price.

The Country House Hotel had been owned by Chris Whyte for the last 19 years, but has now sold the property to retire.

Bird Group is a promoter and operator behind Roseate Hotels & Resorts, a briefcase of luxury properties in both India and the UK, including Roseate Edinburgh.

The group announced that they were “responsible and consciously” to return the Beechfield House under its new ownership.

Beechfield House is a Class II list, built in 1878 and set within eight hectares of gardens and forest area. At the end of the 1960s, converted into a hotel, now has 24 bedrooms, oranges, 40 feet outdoor swimming pool and several dining, meeting and event facilities.

The hotel was recognized as a selection hotel for AA inspectors for 2024-25, and has also organized the A-A-A-Survey award for 2024-2025. In addition, it has earned two AA rosettes for culinary excellence in 2024-2025.

Whyte said, “I am pleased to hand over the Roseate Group’s safe detention of 19 years of beloved home and business.

“A very special thank you to the fantastic team and the local journalists – many of whom have been with me throughout the incredible journey, and all of whom have played in us for years, gaining many recognitions.

“It was great to work with Matthew Smith on Knight Frank, who unnoticed market sales at £ 4 million in my retirement.”

Ravi Birdy, CEO of Roseate Hotels and Resorts, said: “We are welcome to the Beechfield House and its exceptionally talented team for the bird family, and we are looking forward to returning a responsibly and meaningful Beechfield House, re -photographed!”.

The Roseate Hotels & Resorts also own other British properties, including Roseate Reading and Roseate Villa Bath.
