Richard Banks has resigned as chairman of Rick Stein restaurants after serving for almost four years.
The group stated that the former CEO of Banks, the UK property has been resigned from the position he has been operating since 2021 for personal reasons.
His successor is Mark Hixon, who has been promoted to his position as the leader of the Rick Stein restaurant.
Hixon, an experienced consultant who joined the business in 2021, is currently CEO of Consulting Associates Worldwide Limited.
Hixon wrote in LinkedIn’s message: “I have a very honor to take the Richard Banks Rick Stein.
“Despite the fact that the brand, like us and the brilliant team, I am sure that we can continue to guide the successful course through these challenging financial conditions.”
In their statement, Rick Stein restaurants stated: ‘The Rick Stein group can confirm that Richard Banks has resigned as chairman for personal families. The company will sincerely thank him for his leadership and contribution. Dr. Mark Hixon has become chairman from the executive leader. ”
Rick and Jill Stein opened a seafood restaurant in 1975, and almost 50 years ago, the family business has grown to cover 10 restaurants, pubs, chefs, 40 guest rooms, self -service property and four retail stores.
Business is one of Cornwall’s largest private sector employers, with about 650 labor.
Last year, the group announced that it intended to open their first restaurant in the center of London after the return to profitability in 2023.
