Roti King is scheduled to open the first regional restaurant in Brighton in May, ten years after its debut in London.
Roti King Brighton has 50 covers in the lanes on the list of class II, presenting Malaysian street arts and serving genuine Malaysian Tamilo kitchens.
The menu contains foods such as Roti Canai, served with Dhal, chicken, sheep or fish Kari, as well as Char Kway’s TEW-Chewy rishes mixed with a shrimp and egg-malaysian fried chicken marinated to white, ginger and lemon spray.
For the first time, Sugen Gopal launched Roti King as a stand in Oriental City in Colindale before opening his first permanent location in Euston, London in 2014.
Since then, he has expanded the Roti King brand in London, seats at the Battersea power plant, Waterloo and Spatalfields. In addition, his sister restaurant, the corner of Gopal, operates in five centers, mainly in Market Halls.
Gopal said, “Brighton has always had a special place in my heart – the city is the energy that makes it one of my favorites in the UK eating places in the United Kingdom. Lanes, independent spirit and incredible food culture, feels like a perfect home for Roti King outside London.
