The Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the series of leadership changes with the Hyatt strategy to improve the placement, streamlining and global expansion promotion.

Marc Jacheet’s name as the European, African and Local Eastern Group Director (EAME) means Hyatt’s commitment to strengthen its presence in these key areas. His leadership is expected to play a crucial role in the strategic growth of the company and the location of the brand.

Marc Jacheet, based on luxury and premium consumer brands such as De Beers, Louis Vuitton, Moët & Chandon and Evian, brings a wealth of expertise in branding strategy, customer experience and market expansion. His name is responsible for Hyatt’s focus on improving the brand-driven approach and strengthening his presence throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Javier Águila’s appointment as the Growth Director means the Strategic transfer to Hyatt, utilizing his success by leading a company led by a company led by a company led by a company in the area. His double role, which includes the leading collection of Hyatt, puts him on the forefront of a company’s development strategy, transactions and brands growth worldwide.

Águila maintains its leadership responsibility in the EAME area during the transition period by working closely with Marc Jacheet to ensure a smooth donation. As of July 1, 2025, Águila will take on its new global roles, continuing to report to Mark Hoplamazian, CEO of Hyatt, as he leads the company’s growth strategy and participatory collection.

Jim Chu, who has been Hyatt’s Growth Director since 2022, will be transferred to the role of owner relationships on July 1, 2025. In this new position, he focuses on strengthening relationships with Hyatt’s ownership partners. Chu will continue to report to CEO Mark Hoplamazian.

Hyatt’s leadership changes strengthen its commitment to a brand -centric approach that is consistent with their strategy to serve the separate needs of guests, owners and developers in its five key brand gaps: lifestyle, luxury, participatory, classics and essentials.

“Today’s announcements highlight two Hyatt’s key points,” said Hyatt CEO Mark Hoplamazian: “First of all, top-level leaders will receive a deep brand and action expertise such as Marc Jacheet, leading EAME performance and growth to accelerate and develop towards the focus of brands. Hyatt leaders like Javier águila and Jim Chu

Hoplamazian continues: “I am happy to welcome Marc to the Hyatt family. He brings a broad experience of global activity from leading consumer brands, a fresh perspective on our industry, and most importantly, in close responding to our culture. Javier’s organic and inorganic growth expertise, as well as extensive acquisition and strategic investment experiences, will receive his time in venture capital companies in Europe. Given the speed of the growth of the EAME area, which has experienced under his leadership since 2022, I am sure that he will expertly guide the next number of Hyatt’s global growth in all five brands. Jim for 20 years of ownership and operator focused on Hyatt in to place him perfectly to increase innovation and to provide exceptional value in a more central stakeholder. “
