The luxurious Welsh Hotel, the Grove of Narberth, has obtained the design permit to expand its guest capacity and present the new back of the house to the staff.
The hotel’s expansion plans were originally submitted to the Pembrokeshire Country Council in the fall of 2021 and received approval last week on February 25.
The founder and CEO of the Seren collection, Neil Kedward, expressed his excitement about providing permission to plan Narbert’s beloved Grove “important expansion” and stated that the team was “excited” about approval.
He said, “It is a small, but significant project, adding contact opportunities to our accommodation offer, which is most important to update our staff areas to better reflect the hotel’s ambition and rising standards.
“We can now start planning the building with confidence in the coming years. For those who know the property, the extension is behind a new wing – so it has little or no effect on the historic facade of the houses, which defines this special house that is set on the Rolling Narberth hills. “
The hotel, part of the family-owned Seren collection, has received two Catey Awards in front of the 2022 and year house of the year in 2021.
