The Celtic collection and ICC Wales have named Julie Hammond’s new CEO.
With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Julie now leads Wales’ largest independent hotel group, Celtic Collection, together with the newest Greater General Meeting Center ICC Wales.
Julie last dominated one of the largest hotels in the UK and has held older management positions in several prestigious hospitality properties and groups in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Julie previously served as Property Manager for L+R Hotels, monitoring places such as Chewton Glen, Cliven House and Fairmont Monte Carlo. He also had Ralph Trustes Ltd’s Group Trade Director, who owns London’s Athenaeum and The Grove Hertfordshire.
He also brings the experience of Wales’s hospitality because he has controlled the Voca St David hotel in Cardiff Bay.
During the growing Celtic collection and ICC Wales, Julie is responsible for designing a business strategy and an increase in income and profitability for one of Wales’ largest employers.
He said, “I am pleased to take this opportunity and build an incredible work that has already been done to set up a Celtic collection as Wales’ largest independent hotel group and ICC Wales as the most interesting new congress center in the UK.
