Chris Burford has been appointed CFO of Ground Container Leisure Business Boxpark.

Burford has over 25 years of experience in venture capital and venture capital investment companies in hospitality, leisure and retail sectors. He has recently worked for older financial duties in Wagamama, Leon and the EG group.

His appointment comes during the Boxpark expansion period, which has launched two new venues in Liverpool and Camden, London, last year.

Boxpark is scheduled to open her sister’s social dining concept, Boxhall, on Liverpool in London this spring.

Burford said, “I’m very excited to join Boxpark, a fantastic established brand with a bunch of ambitious and potential. I look forward to playing my role in a fast -growing, dynamic organization and monitor strategies and economic growth throughout the portfolio. “

Ben McLaughlin, Director of Boxpark, added: “We have had a great year by opening new sites, building incredible guest experiences, and doing the best of the euro! But as we grow, we will continue world -class leaders who have relevant skills to achieve our business goals. I am happy to wish Chris, who brings a lot of experience to the team and is part of the trip here at Boxpark. “

Boxpark, which launched its first site in Shoreditch in London in 2010, has since expanded with parks in Croydon, Wembley, Liverpool and Camden.

In the latest accounts, Boxpark reported to have decreased pre -tax profits, decreased by just under £ 2.3 million from nearly 4 million weapons in 2023.
