As the spookiest of days approaches, many will flock over to London Dungeon to get themselves in the mood before heading home to continue their horror movie marathon.
To hype up the occasion, the venue, which has now been operating for 50 years, has hired a ‘psychic bouncer’ who may let some people in for free… at a cost.

If you’re able to show the bouncer proof that you have a ghost experience, with the pictures to back it up, or if you’re super convincing that a ghost is following you, you can be granted free entry on October 31. That’s certainly one way to leave your demons behind this All Hallow’s Eve.
Once you’re in, you can take part in more spooky activities such as their new experience, Séancewhich invites visitors to to link hands and stand round a Oujia board. I’ve watched enough movies to sit that part out, but go right ahead if you wish to encounter a paranormal thrill.
Speaking on the news, a London Dungeon spokesperson said: “This Halloween we are allowing guests to escape their ghosts in the present-day and witness the frights of London’s past instead. Those who can convince our Psychic Bouncer that they are being haunted or have a ghostly friend in tow can get in for free this spooky season. You might not be able to give your phantom at home the boot, but at the London Dungeon we know there are worse ghouls to be afraid of!”
Try your luck for a free entry to London Dungeon on October 31, and check out their brand new show Séance (which is promised to be their scariest yet, and runs until November 4). Book your spot here.
