Imagine waking up in the morning, walking to your kitchen, flicking on your stylish coffee machine and in less than a minute a creamy cappuccino or rich espresso is ready to be sipped. This daydream can become a reality with Amazon‘s latest fabulous offer on the Nespresso Vertuo Plus Coffee Machine.

The gadget usually costs £200, but for a limited time, Amazon shoppers can add it to their kitchen for only £80, giving a whopping 60% saving. This is the cheapest price you can buy the coffee machine for, with it costing £199.99 when purchased directly from Nespresso.

The Vertuo Plus comes with a complimentary set of 12 pods, introducing you to some of the brand’s 30 blends that can be made using the machine. It can produce five different barista-style coffee cup sizes – a small ristretto shot, a 40ml and 80ml espresso, a gran lungo cup containing 150ml, and a 230ml mug.

As well as producing piping hot drinks at the touch of a button, the machine can also be used to create refreshing iced coffees during the warmer months. Nespresso’s gadget is integrated with the latest technology that reads each individual pod barcode and automatically adjusts the brewing settings.

It uses a precise and customised amount of water, energy and coffee for each blend, giving you the ‘best possible cup, every time’. The coffee machine heats up in 40 seconds and features electrical opening and closing, a moveable water tank, and automatic coffee pod ejection.

The Vertuo Plus can be used with a variety of milk frothers and accessories, including the Nespresso Aeroccino (£79.99), so that you can craft your favourite coffee shop drinks in the comfort of your home. Over 2,100 Amazon shoppers have reviewed the coffee machine to date, with 1,600 of those reviewers rating the gadget five stars.

“I love my Nespresso machine and use it daily,” said one satisfied customer. “I find the pods reasonably priced and a good variety. I also have the Aeroccino.”

A second wrote: “Really good machine, easy to install. The larger capacity water tank is very useful as I have a few coffees a day, so it’s good as I don’t have to fill the tank all the time.”

A third commented: “So easy to set up and use. I’ve used this machine every day since purchasing it. It looks really stylish too and makes amazing coffee in just moments. I love how the water tank can be angled to suit your space. Quality product at a superb price, plus the special offer to get free capsules to try out was great. Best purchase ever.”

Another happy buyer agreed, as they explained: “The best Nespresso machine by far. Everything about this machine is class. From the automated opening and closing, to the coffee taste and perfect drinks temperature. This is a huge improvement on my first Nespresso machine.”

Unfortunately one person noted a downside to the coffee machine, as they believe the pods are ‘quite costly’. Another added: “I wish I didn’t buy it, very expensive capsules compared to other machines and other brands.”

If you’d like to add the Nespresso Vertuo Plus Coffee Machine to your kitchen, buy it from Amazon here for £80 while the sale lasts.

Alternatively, John Lewis has the TASSIMO by Bosch JOY Coffee Machine costing £49.99. If you only drink espresso, you may be interested in the Ariete Slim Barista Espresso Coffee Maker Machine that includes a milk frother and is currently on sale at Debenhams for £134.99.
