The five Lee siblings – Charlie, Sammy (shown), Eddy, David and Elizabeth Lee are descendants of Lee Man Tat, who died in 2021 at the age of 91. Charlie is the CEO of LKK Group, the parent company of Lee Kum Kee. the world’s largest oyster sauce producer. With 6,000 people worldwide, the company exports to over 100 countries. LKK Health Products, the group’s Chinese herbal products division, is headed by Sammy, while the Lee Kum Kee Family Foundation is headed by David. LKK Group chose Katty Lam, a family outsider and former head of Pepsi Co., as CEO a year before Lee Man Tat’s death.

When Man Tat’s grandfather Lee Kum Sheung started making oyster sauce in 1888, he started the family business.
