Chef Jono has worked at Mustique the whole time Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea season 9, but his time on the superyacht hasn’t been easy or trouble-free. Chef Jono’s cooking may be at a higher level than most chefs, but his time in Mustique has made him seem like a producer factory. After the chef has been reprimanded by the captain several times this season, his future has been in doubt.
Although chef Jono started to have difficulties in Mustique, his time continued Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea has been a series of downs. The first charters of the season were difficult, but he was able to level himself in the second half of the charter season. When the inside and outside crew started breaking in their own way throughout the charter season, chef Jono was able to work a little harder and offer decent meals to the guests. After such a bad performance Chef Jono’s recovery makes him feel like a producer.

In the first charters of the year Below decks Mediterranean season 9, that was clear Chef Jono was on his head. Chef Jono was created meals that did not meet the dietary preferences or restrictions of the charter guests, so he struggled to be the kind of chef he needed to make Mustique successful. Although he spoke with Cpat’s Sandy Yawn about his future at Mustique and the best ways to improve, Chef Jono managed to find his footing without much discipline. He did so well in the charters later in the season that it felt forced or fake.

He served a near-fatal meal
In one of the latest episodes Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea in season 9, Chef Jono had another major struggle when he failed to carefully read the preferences of the primary guest. The guest had said that they couldn’t eat raw fish due to illness, but on the requested sushi night, Jono offered raw fish directly to the guest. Even though he didn’t have them, the damage was done. Captain Sandy explained that serving raw fish to a guest who was allergic to raw fish was a fire. and began making arrangements to bring in a new cook.
Chef Jono escaped unharmed for strange reasons
He was almost traded
Although Captain Sandy was called in to replace Chef Jono, things did not go as smoothly as he would have liked. Since there were no cooks available to take his place, Captain Sandy had to keep Jono on board for the time being. I believe it Chef Jono is almost confirmed for the producer factory after he escaped unscathed after committing arson. The cook may have been retained only due to lack of availability, but Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea the chef feels like he’s stuck in the show too much to be authentic.
