Anyone looking to create a bouncy blow-dry without spending hundreds of pounds every salon visit is likely to have their eye on a Dyson AirWrap, Shark FlexStyle, GHD Rise or Revlon Hot Brush. And while it can be difficult to decide which model is best to go for, new customers say this FlexStyle competitor is “easy” and “much better” for styling their hair.
Posted in the comments of Shark’s arguably biggest rival, Dyson, shoppers say the AirWrap design is much easier to use. Because some shoppers seem to prefer the button layout, weight, and final hair result.
A Dyson AirWrap dealer who branded it brilliant said: “I tried the Shark dryer before and this one is much better. The buttons fit better, are easy to use and are light.” While another user said it was their “best investment ever”.

Another Dyson fan said: “I sometimes like to straighten my hair and the Dyson Airwrap did a fantastic job drying it in half the time it would have taken with my old hair dryer. It was easy to use and my hair felt soft and it wasn’t frizzy The styling tools took a little while and practice for me to get the hang of, but great results.
Speaking of straightening hair, it’s a product many associate the GHD brand with, thanks to its distinctive Original styler, and some Dyson shoppers say this is another rival to the AirWrap beats. “I’ve used a GHD on my hair for years and it’s always left it dry and it would get that burnt smell you get after using a GHD that makes you feel like your hair isn’t clean after you just washed it,” said one review.
Comparing the feel of their hair after using their GHD product with the Dyson, they went on to say: “With the hairdryer I’ve been able to wash my hair and dry it in the same day and then it leaves my hair looking clean, a more natural straight.” Another shopper said similarly, saying he had “used heated tools like GHDs and curling irons, nothing compared to the Dyson AirWrap”.
The beauty favorite has slashed the price to £299 and offered a ‘secret’ code to give shoppers cheeky next-day delivery, something you’d normally have to pair up for. Pasting DYSONFNDD will get you this rare benefit, not to mention the 20 loyalty card points you can get if you add your loyalty card at checkout.
The original Dyson AirWrap is packed with the same powerful technology as its well-known handheld vacuum and comes with two cap and shape attachments to give users salon-ready hair. If you wanted to check out the rival Dyson shoppers are comparing it to, the Shark FlexStyle is currently much cheaper in the sale.
