Now that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special have come and gone, all eyes are on Phase 5 of the MCU and the conclusion of James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy.
At CCXP, Marvel Studios released a new trailer Butter. 3 which was full of plot details, action shots and so much emotion.
But while the Baby Rocket Raccoon videos set the internet abuzz, new evidence suggests that fans are focused on a different character, and one that will be making its long-awaited MCU debut.
The most played scene from Guardians Vol. 3 trailer revealed
As shown by the data in YouTube’s in-player graph Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3‘s latest trailer, viewers have watched certain episodes more than others.
Although the opening sequence of the teaser and Baby Rocket attracted a lot of attention and speculation, the most watched shot of all is Will Poulter as Adam Warlock.
The character of Adam Warlock and his MCU debut were foreshadowed midway through the film. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
By that time Butter. 3 In the premiere, six years separate the setting of the character and his arrival on the screen.
The next most watched scene from the trailer is Nebula, who seems to have recently thrown a punch.
It’s likely that the high numbers for this particular shot are due to the scene immediately following the Warlock shot.
Next up for viewings is Abilisk, an interdimensional creature first seen in the opening scene of the film. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Just like the Nebula image, the current high numbers are likely due to the fact that it precedes the Adam Warlock image in the trailer.
Why is Adam Warlock getting all the attention?
Fans’ focus on Adam Warlock is understandable.
Not only has his role been around for six years, but he’s also the most likely to continue in the MCU, although the fate of the Guardians itself remains to be seen.
Still, Poulter’s MCU debut is far from the only moments in the trailer that have fans talking.
In addition to the Rocket and Counter-Earth footage, the new teaser also featured Gamora in her first post.End game return, as well as Chukwudi Iwuj’s villain, the High Evolutionary.
There are also various shots of the usual Frivolous Guardians experiencing moments of fear, sadness and loss, adding fuel to various theories about who among the crew will or will not survive. Butter. 3.
