Witness for the Prosecution Announces Fifteenth Cast at London County Hall

A new cast has been announced for Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall, marking the production’s fifteenth company since opening in 2017. The new cast begins performances from 17 March, with tickets now on sale.

Owen Warner will make his West End and theatrical debut as Leonard Vole. Known to many for his long-running role in Hollyoakshe also reached the final of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2022. His upcoming screen work includes Spider Island and Butterfly.

Eleanor Sutton joins the cast as Romaine. Her previous theatre work includes A Doll’s House at the Crucible Theatre, A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Opera Holland Park and Wuthering Heights on Emma Rice’s US tour.

The company also features Simon Cotton as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Matthew White as Mr Mayhew, Michael Mears as Mr Myers QC and David Whitworth as Mr Justice Wainwright.

Additional company members include Joe Anthony, Kai Antoine, Andrew Bloomer, Martin Edwards, Oliver Hatfield, Tamsin Heatley, Matthew Hebden, Mark Huckett, Ruchi Rai, Vanessa Sampson, Paul Westwood and Meimei Young.

Directed by Lucy Bailey, Witness for the Prosecution immerses audiences inside a courtroom at London County Hall. The drama unfolds around them as Agatha Christie’s gripping tale of justice and betrayal reaches its climax. The production is designed by William Dudley with lighting by Chris Davey, sound design by Mic Pool and casting by Ellie Collyer-Bristow.

Since 2017 the show has been a major West End success, with performances frequently selling out. It was nominated for Best Revival at both the 2018 Olivier Awards and WhatsOnStage Awards.
