Sister wives Season 19 has featured major drama between Kody and Robyn Brown, but Christine Brown and her beau David Woolley are doing just fine — in fact, David might steal Kody’s thunder. Over the years, Kody has become a major villain – there’s something almost cartoonish about the man and his antics. Childish and stubborn, with little emotional intelligence, Kody tends to blame others for his own shortcomings. When David joined the show, he brought a different energy, mostly because of his lack of bitterness.
At this point, Kody is so exhausted, it’s rough.
Kody makes the people around him happy. His energy is dark and oppressive. Even Robyn, the favorite, is completely disappointed at this point. So it’s understandable that when David came in, it was like a breath of fresh air. He entered the battle as true love, rather than a husband who behaved more like a hostage. Yes, David wants to be with Christine — even though they had a little wedding venue drama, it’s not the end of the world. However, Christine forced David to appear on the show US Weekly.

Above, through TLC On YouTube, Christine wanted “hedging in” wedding venue and ran into some obstacles. These are common “happy couple” problems. It’s nothing like the toxic melange that is Kody’s interactions with almost everyone.
Kody’s potent cocktail of fragile male egos, patriarchal power trips, and blaming the whole world for being unpredictable and nasty is a drink that’s getting harder and harder to put down.
Meanwhile, David is so smitten with his vivacious and gorgeous wife, Christine, who is happier than ever that he agreed to film the show even though he didn’t want to. Love is sacrifice and David seems to understand that. It’s all about compromises! Christine said:
“He wouldn’t want to do… (but) he supports me. He just realizes that this is my life. But I said, “You know, if you don’t want to do it, you don’t have to.” But he has been very gracious and kind to his time. I’m really, really just forever grateful (that) he’s done.”
By acting like a man and not an angsty teenager, David can outshine his rival Kody. Even though Kody has fathered a bunch of kids, his overall level of maturity is astonishingly, blindingly low. It’s as if fame has stopped his personal growth forever. The tragic passing of her son, Garrison Brown, may change her and give her more depth and compassion, but there’s always the chance that the pit will be thrown.
Kody is probably set in his ways, and if he keeps it up, he could lose the only wife he has left. No one wants to be unhappy every day because Their partner cannot find joy in their life. Kody isn’t funny anymore – he’s honestly so infuriating. It’s boring to watch him act out the same tired psychodrama with different women, one after the other.
What has he learned from all his experiences? Just to move the cause. It’s not nearly enough.
Years of strife and downright creepy Lord over brown women have warped patriarch Kody’s mind, leaving him a dry and empty shell. He is a snake in dire need of shedding its skin. Rebirth is always possible, but until Kody truly learns to be a man, viewers will likely look to David, to idealize a man who has so much to offer.

star serves her partner, and she lights up the screens because she’s nothing like Kody. David is the best role model. Men should watch and learn.
It’s shocking that Kody is ruining his marriage with Robyn because of his bitterness towards his ex. He spent years alienating three good women – he pushed them to the point where they had to to mentally seal herself away from him in order to survive. All this he developed quietly, while blaming his mischievous actions on everyone else.
Now Robyn is experiencing a bit of that emotionally sluggish energy, and it doesn’t fill her with joy. It’s not sexy – it’s not cool. It’s just depressing, like staring at a war-torn landscape. Life shouldn’t be an endless struggle – it’s meant to be enjoyed most of the time.
Simultaneously David the hero will do anything for his wife. He offers her happiness, communication, and hopefully enough passion to replace her boring and sexless spiritual union with Kody. What Sister wives‘ What Kody did to Christine’s life was ridiculous and blaming him for it is not appropriate. Now she can play with a man who actually smiles. And viewers can play along, grateful that one man is trying to make a woman happy.
