Looking for Sister Wife stars Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield dated potential sister-in-law Roberta Pache during seasons 3 and 4 of the hit show, but the pair have been shadowing Roberta for allegedly swindling them out of thousands of dollars. Roberta was 33 when she and Garrick met online. Roberta is from Brazil and didn’t speak English on the show. He and Merrifields relied on translator apps to communicate, and hired a translator for one trip to Brazil. Garrick received a vision from God where he would live happily with a total of five wives.

Roberta and the Merrifields were introduced Looking for Sister Wife season 3 when Garrick and Dannielle wanted to expand their family and relationship by adopting a polygamous lifestyle. They had been monogamous for thirteen years. They went so far as to divorce Dannielle and Garrick so that Garrick could bring a foreign bride to America. The two wanted to bring Roberta into their clan, but this goal ultimately failed with the addition of potential sister-wife Lea Newton. After Roberta leaves, the Merrifields share what they believe is the real reason why Roberta left their family so suddenly.
