Though it’s not part of a quest anymore, it’s still well worth knowing where you can find Peelosopher Banaocrates and Mending Machines, as they can come in very handy when you’ve just barely gotten through a scrape.
Especially so if you want to cling onto those Medallions after defeating Megalo Don or getting Oscar’s Shotgun as you grind your way through the battle pass to unlock Peabody or the Fallout power armour.

Where is Patch Up Service in Fortnite? Healing locations explained
To purchase a Patch Up Service in Fortnite, you need to speak to Peelosopher Bananocrates at the Restored Reels or buy one from a Mending Machine.
As of writing, Peelosopher Bananocrates is the only NPC character who will sell you a Patch Up Service.
Peelosopher Bananocrates can be found wandering the grounds of the Restored Reels.
If you’re looking to find a Mending Machine instead, have a gander at our map of all the locations on the Chapter 5 Season 3 map.
Purchasing a Patch Up Service will set you back 100 Gold Bars, but is totally worth it if you have no healing items to hand. You’ll need to have lost some health to purchase a Patch Up Service, too.
If you’re down on Gold Bars, you can pick up more by completing a Bounty, completing quests given to you by NPCs, searching Cash Registers, eliminating opponents, in chests etc… It’s not difficult to find more Gold Bars simply by playing the game as normal.
One important thing to note: it looks like you can’t buy a Patch Up Service unless you actually need healing, so you’ll have to take some damage before trying to buy one!
