Wimbledon 2018 match being played

While the compelling Wimbledon clash between Jannik Sinner & Carlos Alcaraz might have only ended less than two months ago, it’s getting to that time to think about getting your tickets for next year’s tournament. As always, tickets for the main courts are divvied out by way of ballot to ensure the fairest method of catering for the high demand is carried out.

As we’ve hit the beginning of September, and the summer is slowly waving goodbye, we’ve officially entered the period where the ballot tends to go live. Here’s what you need to know about the process for Wimbledon 2026 tickets.

When does the Wimbledon 2026 ballot open?

The Wimbledon Ballot opened on Tuesday (September 2), and you can register until September 16 at 23:59pm!

How to register for the Wimbledon 2026 ballot

You can sign up here. You may only submit one application per household. There may be a queue to the site, but there is no advantage to signing up earlier. Enter before the deadline to be in with a chance of securing tickets to matches on Centre Court and courts 1, 2, & 3.

When will I find out if I have tickets to Wimbledon 2026?

Dates are not yet confirmed for this, but successful applicants found out in October last year, so expect this to be similar when it comes to the batch of tickets for the upcoming tournament.

When is Wimbledon 2026?

Wimbledon 2026 takes place between Monday, June 29 and Sunday, July 12.

How much are Wimbledon tickets?

Prices for this year are still TBAbut they range depending on which match you are allocated to see in the ballot. A ticket to one of the finals on Centre Court is likely to set you back north of £255, but there are usually Court 3 spaces in the first few days of the tournament for around £55. Remember: that price also grants you access to games on courts 4-18.

Can I still go to Wimbledon if I miss out on tickets?

Yes! The queue is still a way for thousands to catch the action at Wimbledon, and the ballot dishes out the tickets for the main four courts, so there are 14 other courts that you’ll have access to if you tackle the big line and enter for a day.

All details on the ballot can be found here.
