Amy Slaton was arrested for drug use
Amy was arrested at the Tennessee Zoo
Amy made headlines for the wrong reasons in September 2024 when she was arrested for drug possession. Amy’s good girl image was already ruined, but this incident left her reputation permanently damaged. The Crockett County Sheriff’s Dept shared a Facebook post in which they revealed details of Amy’s shocking arrest. Amy was arrested Monday night at the Tennessee Zoo on the charges alleged illegal possession of Schedule I and Schedule VI drugs. When the post was shared on social media, Amy was still being held at the Crockett County Jail.
Amy wasn’t there alone when the police were called to the strange incident. There were reports that a guest at the Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo had bitten the camel! When officers arrived, they immediately became suspicious when they smelled a strange odor coming from the same stranger’s vehicle. Amy was arrested along with a man named Brian Scott Lovvorn who was in the car with her. By USA todayat the time, police did not reveal what drugs Amy and her partner were allegedly in possession of.
Schedule I drugs may contain opioids such as heroin, hallucinogens, psychedelic substances such as LSD, antidepressants or stimulants, while Schedule VI drugs include marijuana and THC. Marijuana for medical or recreational use is illegal in the state. It was Amy who had been bitten by the camel. I swear confirmed that police reportedly found marijuana and illegal mushrooms in their vehicle. Amy pleaded not guilty to the charges and so did Brian. The scariest part of Amy’s arrest wasn’t her alleged drug possession. Amy was also arrested on two counts of endangering a child under 8. Amy’s two children were found in the same vehicle when it was searched. Stephen Sutton, PIO for the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, had mentioned this their officer’s concern was not only the alleged possession of illegal drugs, but the fact that Amy had two small children in the same vehiclee. Tammy took her two nephews, 4-year-old Gage Deon and 2-year-old Glenn Allen, after Amy was taken into custody.
Although the children were not injured during the incident, they were still in the car when their mother was arrested. Drugs are suspected to be clearly visible in the vehicle. meanwhile DailyMail reported that the co-owner of the Tennessee Safari Park claimed that Amy’s injury appeared to be self-inflicted and not consistent with an animal bite. A man named Brian who accompanied Amy was reportedly “act crazy, yell and scream” when the police arrived. Reports indicate that Amy’s children were not in a safe environment, despite what at first glance appeared to be just another harmless visit to the zoo.
How can Amy change?
Amy needs time to heal
First, Amy needs to get her priorities straight. Amy had acted irresponsibly, which is not in her character as a mother who always feels she is a good mother. Amy put the kids in a dangerous situation which included him allegedly being under the influence in a public place, probably driving them around, while also enjoying the company of a mystery man, which could also have been good considering his wild behavior. The same Amy had once had an awakening and decided to clean up her unclean house when she welcomed baby Gage.
Amy wants to keep her children safe, but exposing them to bad habits and natural men is everything Amy does wrong. Amy’s boys need to be in a stable environment that their mother has not been able to provide them. There’s only one thing on his mind that needs to change for Glenn and Gage’s sakewho would otherwise end up following in his footsteps. Amy doesn’t need a new relationship; he needs time to heal. Amy had wanted children for so long, and now that she’s a mother, she’s doing everything she can to prove that she’s no good.
