American Idol season 22 Top 10 finalist and country singer Mia Matthews has been busy with her music career since competing on the singing competition series in 2024. Mia, a 19-year-old from Center, Alabama, earned her golden ticket by singing “No Place That Far” by Sara Evans. all the time American Idol season 22, Mia sang phenomenal renditions of country hits including Lainey Wilson’s “Wildflowers And Wild Horses”; “Those Memories Of You” by Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris; “Over You” by Miranda Lambert; and “Nobody Needs to Know” by Shania Twain.
When Mia took part in the audition American Idol in season 22, along with her sister Jacy, who made it to the Hollywood Round, was no stranger to singing competition shows. Mia competed Sound season 19, with Worth the Wait, a trio consisting of him, Jacy, and their mother, Tara.
