Fancy a Bridget Jones-themed day out in London? From the blue soup incident to that unforgettable kiss in the snow, many of the iconic locations from the films are right here in the capital – and you can visit them all with TfL.
📍 1. Bridget’s Flat – 8 Bedale Street
Start your journey at London Bridge station, where you’ll find 8 Bedale Street, the location of Bridget’s flat. It’s here that she navigated the ups and downs of love, career, and, of course, a rather questionable blue soup.

📍 2. Daniel Cleaver’s Flat – Pickfords Wharf
Just a short walk from London Bridge, past the historic Golden Hinde, you’ll arrive at Pickfords Wharf, where Daniel Cleaver lived. If you’re still holding a grudge against him, feel free to skip this stop – we haven’t forgiven him yet either!

📍 3. Bridget & Mark’s Snowy Kiss – The Royal Exchange
Next, hop on a bus across London Bridge and head to Bank station. From there, it’s just a short walk to The Royal Exchange and Threadneedle Street, where Bridget and Mark Darcy famously kissed in the snow at the end of the first film. It’s about an 18-minute walk from Bridget’s flat—and since she ran there in a dressing gown in the middle of winter, she must have been freezing! Safe to say, she would have been much better off using TfL.

📍 4. The Royal Courts of Justice – Chancery Lane
Head back to Bank station and take the Central line to Chancery Lane. From there, walk down to the Royal Courts of Justice, where Bridget saves her career by securing an important TV interview with Mark.

📍 5. The Book Launch – Institute of Contemporary Arts
Jump on a bus to Charing Cross and take a short walk past Trafalgar Square to the Institute of Contemporary Arts. This is where the book launch of Kafka’s Motorbike was held—a moment that proved a little more cringeworthy than groundbreaking. (Oi! The mic’s not working! 🎤)

📍 6. The Hyde Park Fist Fight – The Italian Gardens
Finally, catch the Bakerloo line, then switch to the Central line at Oxford Circus, and head to Lancaster Gate. From there, you can walk to The Serpentine Gallery and The Hyde Park Italian Gardens, the setting of Mark Darcy and Daniel Cleaver’s second iconic fistfight.

With TfL, it’s easy to recreate the best of Bridget’s London, minus the embarrassing moments and questionable cooking! Whether you’re reliving the romance or just exploring the city in a new way, our network of buses, Tube, and walking routes will get you there effortlessly. Or if you’re more into cycling, there are plenty of options with Santander Cycles too.
