Staying in one of the Fitzrovia Quarter’s beautifully restored historic buildings will allow you to immerse yourself in the area and a top tip is to stay at The London EDITION which offers the ultimate luxury-boutique hotel experience. And this year they’ve teamed up with celebrated cookery writer and tastemaker Sky McAlpine, to create a wonderfully whimsical, and most importantly edible Christmas tree installation, unveiled in their magnificent hotel lobby. Inspired by timeless fairytales such as Hansel and Gretel and The Grinch, Skye’s tree is adorned with delicious handmade decorations, truly capturing childhood nostalgia and the wonder of Christmas.

If you’re in need of some pre-Christmas pampering, then there’s nothing like a facial at LAPO Skincare to have you feeling a million dollars for the party season. Their pioneering skincare treatments combine advanced science with globally sourced ingredients. From the Pre-Holiday Glow facial to the Urban Hydrate and Renewal Facial, there are so many treatments to choose from. Music lovers can plug in play more than 300 electric acoustic guitars or browse the selection of exclusive apparel, gifts and accessories at Gibson Garage.  The brand is marking 130 years of music history with free, live in-store performances throughout December.

Dining and Drinking

There is no shortage of excellent places to enjoy a meal out in the Fitzrovia Quarter, whether you’re going for celebratory, laidback, or somewhere in between. The Secret London team’s go to is will do where mediterranean flavours shine in every dish. rice QD brings Valencian cooking to life with wood-fired rice dishes and innovative paellas, while 1905a stylish and cosy restaurant serving modern Greek cuisine with a Cretan twist. For exceptional coffee, Caffeine is an independently owned cafe and espresso bar also runs Latte Art and Private Espresso classes.
