On certain days they have live music sets while you eat, which makes for a lively atmosphere in this home to American cuisine, and music memorabilia.
Sit in a booth, order a Pure Passion Martini with mango, orange, lime and grenadine juice, vodka and prosecco while you tap your toes to rock and pop classics.

The Just the Two of Us Menu includes cocktails, salad, flatbread and burgers. (Image: Hard Rock Cafe) The ‘Just the Two of Us’ Valentine’s Menu is available until February 21 and represents great value at two courses for £27.95 and three for £38.95.
The Martini is one of the choices for appetiser, which I enjoyed during a visit to the Piccadilly Circus branch, located deep beneath one of London’s busiest intersections, while listening to covers of classic love songs.
We ordered a nicely dressed salad with a zingy balsamic vinaigrette, goats cheese, almonds, lettuce, and in a nod to the occasion, strawberries.
The flatbread dressed with roasted garlic, ricotta, mozzarella, bacon and wine-cooked onions resembled a pizza and was also very tasty.
Mains include a chicken Milanese, fried chicken cob salad, and burgers ranging from Mediterranean chicken to grilled salmon and spicy shrimp and plant-based.
But I’d advise going for their Smash burger – two beef patties, oozing cheese, bacon jam, and pickles – it’s an absolute classic.
While waiting between courses you should take a tour to seek out the guitars, costumes and album covers that grace the walls. From Lady Ga Ga’s high boots to John Lennon’s glasses and even a suit worn by David Bowie, it’s a treasure trove of rock history.
If you’re indulging in dessert then it has to be the warm, deceptively light chocolate brownie. Served with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce and sprinkles with a cherry on the top, it’s perfect for sharing with your date.
Before you hit the road you can also sip an Espresso Martini, shaken up vodka, kahlua liqueur, and a dash of coffee, it’s an ideal nightcap to round off an upbeat date night.
The Hard Rock Cafe is at Piccadilly Circus, 225-229 Criterion Building, London
