New Club Reef is on the same beach as the GMC dive site, although it will be 300 meters away before you reach the GMC site. The marine creatures are for example Blue Angel Fish, Sergeant Major, Groupers, Batfish, Barracuda, Spangled Emperor, Towbar Sea Bream, Snappers, small rays, Saddleback, Needlefish Jellyfish, Octopus and Crab similar to those found in GMC.
New Club Reef believed to be deeper than the GMC and shallower than the Dooba, with most of the artefacts lying between 12 and 16. New Club Reef is an artificial artificial reef created by the diving community about 20 to 30 years ago to help improve marine life in the water and provides a diving site for divers.
Bicycles, concrete reef balls, large tank pipes and blocks make up the scene. As it is close to the GMC dive site, you can do your first or second dive at New Club Reef and your third dive at GMC Reef. New Club Reef is only accessible by four-wheel drive cars and is located 57 kilometers from Doha.
To spot marine life, enter the water and look closely at the reef balls, blocks, tires and bikes. Be careful when parking at New Club Reef. In the sand, your car can quickly get stuck. It is considered one of the best diving sites in Qatar.
