The Slatons traveled to England during that time 1000-lb Sisters season 6, and the trip was a tribute to their incredible weight loss journeys. An escape would have been unthinkable when the beloved unscripted series premiered in 2020. At the time, 38-year-old Amy Slaton and 38-year-old Tammy Slaton weighed a combined 1,000 pounds, giving the show its provocative name. They both had limited mobility, especially Tammy, who would hardly leave the house, let alone embark on a cross-country trip.

Since their television debut, Tammy and Amy have undergone bariatric surgery, lost significant weight and found a new love for travel. Several of their siblings have also participated in weight loss activities and embarked on their own health and fitness journeys. During 1000-lb Sisters season 6, the Slatons traveled all the way across the pond to the UK to take full advantage of their hard-earned mobility. Read on to see photos from their trip and learn more about their adventure.

The Slatons have wandered

They also traveled to Florida

Losing weight changed the Slatons’ lives on many levels. Sure, it changed their appearance, but it is changed their lives in many other ways as well. First, it meant they were free to roam the land. After bariatric surgery, Tammy took her first flight and she didn’t even need the extra seat she bought just in case. The Slaton family took a group trip to Florida where they discovered their love of travel. Later, several of the Slatons went to Disney World for another trip after their trip to London.

Although the Slatons traveled several times in the United States, they made a much longer journey away from home 1000-lb Sisters season 6. The Slatons traveled to Great Britain – the place where their ancestors lived. The Slatons seemed to be having a lot of fun and even dressed up in Elizabethan costumes at one point. Tammy recently posted Instagram photos of her and her sister, 43-year-old Amanda Halterman, looking incredible in Renaissance-style outfits.

Now that The Slatons have proven that they can travel across the oceanthe world is their oyster. In the last few seasons they have traveled to Florida and Great Britain, so maybe they will travel again 1000-lb Sisters season 7. Regardless of whether the Slatons continue to roam the world, 1000-lb Sisters stars continue to achieve their incredible health and fitness goals.
