Yesterday evening, the lanes of the lanes opened its doors to Brighton and Hove’s eateries, where a happy crowd celebrates the annual Brighton’s best restaurants.

Founded in 2016 and food journalists Andy Lynes and Patrick McGuiga and Restaurant PR/Copywriter Suzanne Lindfors, and from local experts voted to Gourmand and productive Brighton to Brighton, it is one of the food of the year.

“Our independent plays a huge role in making Brighton from a vibrant place, and we throw these prizes every year to strengthen the good things that happen at the local dining place,” Lindfors said.

“Although we name the winners and put together the top 30 lists, we take our hat for anyone who is currently working in hospitality, which are very much on the surface of some major industry challenges. Supporting all independent companies around the city is currently so important. We really want to keep Brighton unique and exciting for residents and visitors.”

Listen! So what are the best restaurants eating in Brighton and Hovi this year?

The best restaurant

Here we go… Dave Mothersill’s relaxed fine dining room Furna Sniped 2025’s best restaurant prize. This will not come as a surprise to anyone who has eaten there because Furna constantly delivers food that tastes as great as they look.

And the restaurant is easier to reach than ever because they now offer La carte and set lunch menu and their magnificent tasting menu.

Mothersill (on the left side of the picture) also won this year’s best chef prize-once in a row, no less and his restaurant also won the best great cooking. Three times the threat indeed!

The best of fine dining

As we said, Furna came here. Investors were small fish market (technically brilliant modern seafoods are the order of the day in this intimate relaxed restaurant), a series (wait unexpected foods that will never delight), Dilk (inventive foods are shining here when laminated briochests are particularly Swoon) and the front of the cutters).

The best new opening

The cozy Spanish restaurant Amari (Halisco Boys and Amarillon Ian Swainson) took gold. We are not surprised – after all, they got mentioned after the Michelin guide when we are only open for nine weeks. A stylish living bar with Southeast Asian menu no thanks and Super-Sirinen newcomer Pearly Cow, where Brighton’s Andrew Mackenzie headed to the kitchen, were valuable investors.

The best boss

Furna’s Dave MotherSill placed in the top spot, with Duncan Ray, a small fish market and a series of Dan Kenny series.

The best small plates

The stylish Hove wine bar, restaurant and shop fourth and church won the first place (they also won the best drink list). No No thanks (again!), Flint House, Med and Voya were placed in this category. We are contaminated with excellent little plates in Brighton!

Best Sunday lunch

Alberta is in the windmill (proven that injecting the whole chicken really makes incredible sharing to roast) this hottest alleged class. Hilmi (can you quit four beasts?) And the carbon stores (luxurious Sunday’s magnificent environment) were investors.

The best international dining

This class sees Preston Street’s budget -friendly Japanese BBQ expert Bincho Yakitori gold. Undoubtedly makes it difficult for ever to get a table. Modern Indian Brasserie (now in beautiful new lanes) Chili-salt cucumber, a small Suseva South American restaurant Palmito, Amari (again!) And the small plates of East Africa and India were all investors.

Best Lokuubest menu

Not pleasant opened in the spring of 2024, but they all went with a great memorable October offer – reserving a ‘passengers’ to the flight without air with food, drinks and entertainment ‘Pilot’ (ie the owner and one of Brighton’s best restaurant founders). Intelligent, memorable and most importantly, tasty.

Do you have dinner plans to make? Well, here’s a complete list of the winners below (alphabetically and not in order of earnings) with your inheritance. It is a perfect example of the ever -growing depth and width of the city’s dining world.

As a change from previous years, Brighton’s best restaurant gangs no longer reveal the order in which restaurants are placed in the top 30.

We challenge you to work through all of them before the end of 2025! As ever, all the top 30 (plus a few wild card invitations) will be invited to participate in an incredible October later this year. Keep an eye out for all the great, large menu menus from all of them. Bon Appétit!
