Transport for London commuters (aka all of us) will enjoy an unexpected cultural perk this summer. Transport for London (TfL) has announced a partnership with one of the city’s most iconic historic sites, offering a significant discount to its customers. You can visit “Britain’s Sistine Chapel”. at a discounted price – just by hopping on a metro or bus.
TfL has teamed up with the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich to offer 30 per cent off entry to the Painted Hall. Adult tickets are now available for just £11.55 when customers show proof of TfL travel on the day of their visit via the TfL Oyster and Contactless app.
The offer, valid until 17 November 2024, allows visitors to explore what is often referred to as ‘Britain’s Sistine Chapel’. The Painted Hall, housed in the Old Royal Naval College, has a stunning painted ceiling that took nearly two decades to complete.

And some of the most unforgettable cinematic moments were filmed on the grounds, including Four Weddings and a Funeral, Les Misérables, Cruella, Thor: The Dark World, plus popular TV series Bridgerton and The Crown.
