Leicester Square, the throbbing quadrilateral at the heart of London’s tourist district has gotten a whole new festive look. In the square itself, you’ll find Christmas market stalls aplenty, each selling seasonal treats, sumptuous food and delicious drinks. In other words, gallons of glühwein and bundles of bratwurst… Sounds perfectly jolly to us!
But, my little elves, that is not all! For, alongside this fairy-lit rhombus of Crimbo commerce, you’ll find a Spiegeltent, playing host to a bunch of performances. Olivier Award-winning variety show La Clique will be there and ready to grab Christmas by the baubles, as it returns for another year of vibrant and sparkling excellence.
Given we’ve lost an hour of sunlight in our evenings, a bustling Christmas market under the Christmas lights is just what the doctor Santa ordered! Head on down for a spot of festive cheer, and a glühwein or three. Come, on it’s Christmas after all.
You can hop down to Leicester Square anytime between November 8 – January 7, 2024 to give yourself a boost with a spot of festive jubilance. Entry is completely free, but you’ll need to book tickets for the additional shows, like La Clique, beforehand at an extra cost. The nearest station is (shockingly) Leicester Square, but the fun is also walking distance from Tottenham Court Road and Piccadilly Circus.
