Reba Corrine Thomas, one of the therapists 90 days: last resortfaces accusations of lack of legal competence in therapy and refers to himself “entertainer” online. He currently appears on the show to help couples deal with and resolve their intimacy issues. In a recent episode 90 days: last resort season 2, Reba had a private sex therapy session with Natalie Mordovtseva and Josh Weinstein. During the session couples engaged in a playful activity where they tried to identify each other’s pleasure points by applying chocolate syrup to his body.

According to some suggestions, Reba’s advice did not help Natalie and Josh, and her therapy sessions appear to be ineffective.

Reddit user, @ikkunapuolishared a screenshot of Reba’s LinkedIn profile stating he is “not Therapist or anything remote.” A Redditor expressed her frustration that Reba presented herself as a therapist on the show despite having a degree “In PR.” According to Reba’s LinkedIn profile, she describes herself as a “celebrity sexuality educator, entertainer and entrepreneur.” Other Redditors agreed with the OP in that they didn’t think any of the season’s therapists were qualified. One Reddit user @leolisa_444 commented, “These so-called professionals are useless at best and dangerous at worst.”

What it means to reveal Reba as an entertainer for 90 days: the last couple

Reba may lack the necessary tools to help couples

It’s not surprising Reba he does not appear to have the genuine or necessary qualifications to conduct therapy sessions in the program. The actions he had performed in the last few episodes seem to be focused more on entertainment than educating coupleslike Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo, who help solve their deep-seated intimacy issues. The show’s premise is based on dramatic moments and heated arguments between couples, which most licensed therapists don’t want to be involved with because it might hurt their off-screen careers. In addition, most couples did not receive individual sessions with Reba, which undermined the purpose of the therapy.

It’s interesting that Reba is portrayed as a therapist on the show, but she likes to refer to herself “celebrity expert and coach” on all his public profiles. She doesn’t seem to have much experience doing private one-on-one therapy sessions for couples because most of his expertise is “B2B Partnerships.” Although Reba’s therapy sessions 90 day fiance spin-off may have been enjoyable and helped couples relax a bit, his expertise didn’t help them overcome their intimacy issues. In fact, Natalie and Josh grew further apart.

Reba’s skills have the potential to enhance dramatic elements

According to Reba’s profile, she seems more focused on promoting her career on screen rather than helping non-celeb couples privately, away from the spotlight. She often promotes her TV appearances on social media and is proud to be part of a reality TV show and franchise. While it would have been ideal for the couple to receive genuine therapy, it is not surprising “entertainer” like Reba to serve as a therapist on the show. Spectators view 90 days: last resort for chaotic and dramatic storylines rather than therapeutic content like therapy that might make them feel disconnected.

90 days: last resort airs Mondays at 9:00 PM EST on TLC.
