Patrick Simmons of The Doobie Brothers playing a live show

The Doobie Brothers are hitting the road this summer, and you can catch them in the UK & Ireland in July for a string of dates on their ‘Walk This Road’ tour. You can expect to hear tracks from their forthcoming record of the same title, as well as songs from their entire back catalogue stretching back to their 1971 self-titled debut album.

It comes shortly after they were yesterday (February 3) announced as a support act for the sold-out farewell show by Jeff Lynne’s ELO in Hyde Park this summer, and the tour will run around the same time. They’ll be playing shows in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Dublin, as well as a giant show at the O2 Arena here in London on July 19.

Walk This Road marks the group’s first album since 2021, and will be the first new material with Michael McDonald on vocals since 1980’s One Step Closer. This summer marks the first London shows by The Doobie Brothers since 2017, and they return to the UK after supporting The Eagles on a string of shows in Manchester last year.

How to get tickets for The Doobie Brothers at the O2 Arena

Tickets for all shows on The Doobie Brothers UK & Ireland tour (barring the Hyde Park support slot) go on general sale this Friday, February 7 at 10am. There will also be a pre-sale running for the tour dates, with London’s slated to take place at 10am on February 6. You can find the list of dates and registration details for the pre-sale via the band’s website.
