It’s the capital’s first fest dedicated to pickling, brining and fermenting
If you’re obsessed with all things pickled, you’ll wanna get these dates in your diary – London’s first pickle festival is coming to town across Sat 12th & Sun 13th September. The Big Brine, co-founded by Emma and Clarice, who have backgrounds in events and event catering, will bring together the worlds of food, wellness and sustainability by showcasing the craft and culture behind brining and fermenting.
Obvs there’ll be a load of pickled, brined and fermented food to try across the two-day festival, held at Hackney Bridge, but you’ll also be able to meet the makers making waves in the space, hands-on demonstrations, chef takeovers, live music, entertainment and more.
We’re massive fans of the pickle festival on the Lower East Side in NYC and we’ve been waiting for someone to do one here. If you’re as excited about it as us, you can join the waitlist here to be the first to hear when tickets go on sale.
