Jesse continued that it was Grant’s “significant” competitors that made his decision so difficult. He stated, “They’re phenomenal every year for who we have in charge (and) making a decision on the last day is always a very, very difficult decision, but I understand some of why Grant was so conflicted. Jesse continued, “I mean we had to get it going. He has to make a decision and we have to have an ending. And I’m sorry for doing it and saying it like that and breaking that fourth wall, but I had to say it to help him understand. I know Grant understood, but there it went. And I think that shows how true it was.”
However, Jesse revealed that as well Grant could be following in the footsteps of previous Bachelorettes Zach Shallcross (season 27) and Joey Graziadei (28), who are still engaged to Kaity Biggar and Kelsey Anderson.. He shared, “I don’t want to speak for Grant, but I think he’s very, very happy with how things ended. I know he’s really excited for everyone to see this whole thing unfold. Grant is a very easy-going guy.”
Jesse concluded by saying: “I’m a fan of his and I know he’s a guy who’s been successful in everything he’s done in life outside of love (so far). With Zach and Joey, we’re going to use this streak a little bit, and I think we have a chance to keep this thing going, fingers crossed.”

What Jesse Palmer’s Scholarship Forced to Make a Decision Means for a Bachelor
The show’s timeline can be detrimental to relationships
Although it is understandable that Bachelor the producers needed an ending for the show, it’s ridiculous that Grant had to choose between his last two women at that moment if he wasn’t ready. This could mean that she made the decision under a lot of pressure and that she might change her mind like former Bachelor hosts Jason Mesnick and Arie Luyendyk Jr. did in the past when they broke off their engagements and eventually married runners-up. Jesse even seems to regret the role he played in it as he said he was sorry he did it.

By forcing Grant to make a choice within a certain time frame, Jesse and the producers could have hurt his eventual relationship. Unfortunately, this can lead to separation. This may paint Grant as a villain, but fans should remember that the real villains are the manipulative producers.
Our take on Grant Ellis’ inability to choose one woman during the finale
Grant must have some amazing women
Unlike Joey, who was so in love with Kelsey Anderson that even runner-up Daisy Kent saw it and bowed out gracefully so Joey could propose to Kelsey without the burden of breaking up with her, Grant appears to be an undecided candidate. As Jesse said, this is usually not normal. It was hoped that the producers manipulated the preview footage to make it look like Grant was torn, but now Jesse has revealed that it was all true.
