The Food Standards Agency has recently awarded new food hygiene ratings to eight Brent facilities, according to their website. While food hygiene ratings won’t tell you what’s on the menu, they are a good way to discover if a restaurant is on top of their health and safety protocols.
Restaurants, cafes, canteens, pubs, bars, nightclubs and takeaways are included in the Swedish Food Agency’s assessments, to ensure that customers can make an informed decision about where they want to eat or drink. Check out the latest ratings for Brent below.
Among the restaurants, cafes and canteens rated in Brent, Behesht Restaurant on Harrow Road and Ace Cafe on North Circular Road both received a top rating of 5 on 23 December and 21 December respectively. Bebe Cafe at Selco was also rated 5 on December 17, while Lutong Pinoy Halal at Kilburn Square Market was rated 3 on December 12.
In the pubs, bars and nightclubs category, JJ Moons on Kingsbury Road was the only pub in Brent to receive an updated rating in December. The establishment was awarded a 5 on December 21.
Three takeaways were also rated: Sam’s Chicken on High Street and Costa on Preston Road both scored 5 on 23 December and 21 December respectively, while Reggie’s Caribbean Cuisine on Hillside scored 5 on 2 December.
