Southbank Centre is resuming its backstage and architecture tours, several years after the pandemic put a stop to them.

The tour takes place in their foyer spaces and backstage areas and includes details of the buildings that make up the Southbank complex, and the many people who have worked and performed there.
You’ll also learn why their acoustics are considered some of the best in the world, and discover how one little apple led to the design of the famous green carpet.
Tours last approximately 75 minutes and resume from 8th April.
Tickets cost £20 per person (concessions available) and can be booked here.
Note that as it’s a working building, each tour is different, and they can’t guarantee access to the Royal Festival Hall or Queen Elizabeth Hall auditorium.
