Signs Under Deck, Season 5 is its last (the show is a flop)

Gary’s presence in the series is no longer enjoyable, and the only chance of recovery is to replace him.

Crew dynamics in season 5 are already suffering from the departure of chief engineer Colin Macrae, who had been on Parsifal III since season 2. Now that Daisy and Gary are out, the crew feels scattered. However, it would be possible to regain interest by ditching Gary and jumping straight to six seasons. If Sailboat below deck quickly returns with a refreshed crewallowing Daisy to put on a solid show without being weighed down by her drama with Gary, the show could return to the level of success of previous seasons.

Sailboat below deck season 5 also offers new crew members a chance to be top stars. Several new faces have already made a strong impression, including Chef Cloyce Martin, Chief Engineer Davide Morosi and Stew Danni Warren. If any of them become fan favorites and stay on the show, they might garner enough viewer interest to keep the show going.
